About the Game

Diablo II was released in 2000 and quickly became a cornerstone of the ARPG genre. Players choose from five distinct character classes and battle the forces of evil across a dark fantasy world known as Sanctuary.

In 2001, Blizzard released the expansion Lord of Destruction, adding two new classes, a fifth act, hundreds of new items, and deeper endgame systems.
